Aloe vera is a much-loved houseplant known for its medicinal properties. They have thick, fleshy leaves with a blue-ish hue. When flowering it will produce a flower stalk with yellow flowers. Aloe vera are native to the south-western Arabian Peninsula.
They are very easy to keep at home. Place somewhere with bright light, with either some direct sun in the morning or late afternoon. In higher light you will notice your Aloe darken in colour. They prefer not to receive direct sun in summer months. Being a succulent they're not demanding when it comes to watering. Allow the plant soak up water from below on a regular basis. Check every 2-3 weeks in the summer, reduce watering in winter unless the plant indicates it's dehydrated. Do not allow to sit in water.
All plants are sold in their nursery pots. Decorative pots are sold seperately. You can choose your style pot from our Pot Collection. We've paired this Aloe with our medium Almada pot and our medium Raw Stone pot.
Do not pot directly into our decorative pots. It's much better for your plant to keep it in its nursery pot to allow adequate drainage.
