Ceropegia sandersonii, also known as the parachute plant for its unusual shaped flowers, is an arid semi-succulent. Sandersonii is closely related to the string of hearts (Ceropegia woodii). Quite a fast grower in spring and summer, this plant likes a lot of light but not too much direct sun. It can take frequent waterings while it is actively growing, but do make sure it dries out a least through the top half of the soil, and that is it never sitting in water for too long. In the winter months it can be allowed to dry out completely.
