Ficus lyrata (3 Stems)
This beautiful, large Ficus lyrata is in a 34cm diameter pot with three luscious stems. It is well established. Lyrata is the 'it' plant of the interior design world because it makes such a dramatic statement.
Ficus lyrata is more commonly known as Fiddle Leaf Fig and can be found growing in western Africa in lowland tropical rainforests. They are an extremely attractive tree, sporting large glossy leaves with yellow veins.
Ficus plants can be fussy, but once given the right environment they will surprise you with how easy they are to grow. Give your Ficus bright, indirect light. It should be sheltered away from any direct light, other than early morning sunshine. Although they originate in tropical regions they usually do well in normal household humidity, but keep an eye out for crisping leaves. Water your Ficus when the medium is feeling dry through the top half. They do not like a soggy medium.
What makes Ficus challenging to some is the sudden leaf drop that can happen when the plant is stressed. Keep your Ficus away from any draughts, be mindful not to brush past it and try not to move your plant around. They like to become established to a spot and left there. Over winter avoid radiators and cold windows.

All plants are sold in their nursery pots. Decorative pots are sold seperately - you can head over to our Pot Collection. Lyrata in its 34cm nursery pot, fits our XXXL Bali pots.
Do not pot directly into our decorative pots. It's much better for your plant to keep it in its nursery pot to allow adequate drainage.
