Philodendron scandens 'Brasil'

Philodendron scandens is a very easy plant to keep.  We recommend it as a beginner plant, or as a good solution for a shady spot. 'Brasil' is our favourite variety with its striking lime green variegation.  Scandens is naturally a climber but looks lovely grown as a trailing plant.  It can also be trained to climb a frame or even a wall.  
 
This plant survives with fairly low light but will grow faster in bright light (never full sun). Let your Scandens dry out at least through the top half of the compost between waterings - it likes to get lots of fresh air around its roots.

Do not pot directly into our decorative pots. It's much better to keep your plant in its nursery pot to allow adequate drainage.
