Sedum morganianum 'Burrito'
Sedum morganianum 'Burrito' (Donkey's Tail) is one of our favourite trailing plants. The leaves are fragile and can be easily knocked off, but this is just the plant's natural way to propagate. You can keep these leaves to grow a new plant. Alternatively you can pop them back on top & wait for them to root. It can be kept in part sun, bright indirect light & trained up to full sun. They don't require too much attention when it comes to watering. Make sure the medium is completely dry before watering again. Over winter keep your Sedum on the drier side, they don't like to be cold & wet. If your Sedum is dehydrated the plump leaves will begin to pucker.
The plant is sold in its plastic nursery pot, but you can add any of the pots shown in the images.
It's best to keep the plant in its plastic nursery pot. We do not recommend planting directly into decorative pots as they don't provide drainage.
